Mahmood Qazi, BSMLS named Laboratory Director of Logan Memorial Hospital

(Russellville, KY – April 13, 2020) – Logan Memorial Hospital (LMH) announced today that Mahmood Qazi has been named Laboratory Director at LMH. Qazi joins LMH from Trinity Hospital Minot in North Dakota, where he served as Manager of Outreach Clinical Laboratories.

As Manager of Outreach Clinical Laboratories of Trinity Hospital Minto, Qazi was responsible for maintaining 69 clients in outreach areas and adding more clients in the business module along with directing, supervising and providing technical consultancy to many rural community hospital laboratories located in different areas of state of North Dakota.
During his role at Trinity Hospital Minto, Qazi spent four years as Laboratory Technical Consultant for US Air Force Base Hospital Minot, Tioga Community Hospital, Stanley Community Hospital, St. Andrew Community Hospital Bottineau, St. Lukes Community Hospital Crosby, Kenmare Community Hospital, Towner County Hospital Cando, ND, USA.

Qazi holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan and is a Registered Laboratory Scientist (RSci), the Science Council, London, UK. He also has an abundance of experience with accreditation processes with The Joint Commission, CAP, CLIA. Qazi is married to Shabana Qazi and has 3 children.
