Tangela "Tangie" Rippingille named Chief Financial Officer of Logan Memorial Hospital

(Russellville, KY – July 31, 2020) – Logan Memorial Hospital (LMH) announced today that Tangela "Tangie" Rippingille has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of LMH, effective July 28, 2020. Rippingille joins LMH from Dentaquest were she serves as Manager of Accounting.
“We are so excited to have Tangie step into this important leadership role,” said David Brash, chief executive officer (CEO) of LMH. “She is highly-motivated, analytical, and a performance driven professional with extensive financial and operational experience. Her commitment to patient care, physicians, employees and the community is evident in all that she does, and I know that she will help us further advance our mission of Making Communities Healthier.”
As Manager of Accounting at Dentaquest, Tangie transitioned all accounting functions from Alabama to the new centralized Dental Service Organization in Nashville, TN and established proper revenue recognition for the dental practices. She established monthly close procedures for 24 dental offices, built new processes to establish best practices for monthly and annual audits, and built new payroll processes.
“Tangie will be a great fit for Logan Memorial,” said Mark Webb, the departing CFO. "I know her to be experienced and knowledgeable, and she cares about people. We look forward to her joining the leadership team and helping move the hospital forward.” Webb has been covering the CFO role at LMH in addition to his new role as Chief Financial Officer at Jackson Purchase Medical Center since his promotion in September of 2019.
Prior to her role at Dentaquest, Rippingille spent eleven years at LifePoint Health in Brentwood, TN. During her eleven years with LifePoint, she held the positions of Director of Operations & Controller, as well as time as chief financial officer at Sumner Regional Medical Center.

Rippingille holds a Master’s Degree of Accountancy from Massey Graduate School of Business, Nashville, TN and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Belmont University, Nashville, TN and is a member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA). Rippingille resides in Hendersonville, TN where she enjoys time with her grandchildren and 3 adult children.
